18.08.11 Minki's Magic Moments

I did try to avoid a soundtrack themed by the riots, but you know what? It proved impossible. So I gave in. This is a full on, angry, passionate playlist, which fully illustrates the last two weeks. I'm not really going to talk too much about it all, it's far too political and heavy for a one hour show. Instead, interweaved by the 'riot' playlist, will be lighthearted nonsense, nice things to do, nice things to look at on the interweb, possibly some form of confectionery and definitely the double-entendre or two. All things to take your mind off it all.

There has been a lot of talk lately about language, about grammar and about words in general. If you follow you me on Twitter (@50ftwoman) you will know I had a good old pedantic rant about the new acceptance of "your" instead of "you're". And that was just for starters. I love words and language, and so thought I would base my playlist this week on a similar topic; All of the songs or bands tonight have been picked because I liked their name.
